Lisa del Giocondo was the subject of the Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. She appears as Mona Lisa in the episode "Daddio DaVinci."

In the episode, Mona Lisa is the waitress in a coffeeshop where Da Vinci gets his coffee. When Otto is dejected about being unable to inspire Da Vinci to paint in Italian Renaissance style, Larry notices that the waitress is familiar. Otto looks up and realizes that she is Mona Lisa, and calls Da Vinci, placing a picture frame around Mona's head. Da Vinci is later seen painting the Mona Lisa, and when he asks her to smile more, it is revealed that she has horrible teeth.

Appearance[]

Mona Lisa is a young woman with brown hair parted on the middle of her head. She wears a long green dress that is only seen under her white apron, and she is always seen with the same mysterious expression, with the only exception being when Da Vinci asked her to smile more.

Personality[]

Mona Lisa barely speaks in the episode, so it is unknown what she is like. She asks Otto if he wants more coffee, showing she is probably a good waitress, and she is silent when Da Vinci paints her, perhaps showing that she is an agreeable person.

In History[]

Lisa del Giocondo was depicted in Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, which was a portrait of her ordered by her husband. She apparently has no other major historical connection, as she led an ordinary middle-class life.
