Mentioned in |
Galileo Galilei was a famous Italian astronomer during the Scientific Revolution. He is mentioned briefly in "Never Look a Trojan in the Gift Horse," but is never explained.
In the episode, Tuddrussel shows one of Galileo's telescopes to Otto. Tuddrussel remembers Galileo's name, so it's possible the telescope was a gift, but Tuddrussel probably stole it like how he stole Sinon's helmet later in the same episode.
In History[]
Galileo Galilei is most famous for his improvements to the telescope, the discovery of the Galilean moons, and his other astronomical observations.
